Peter Rabbit™ 2017 UK 50p Silver Proof Coin & Book Gift Set

Due to the great popularity for Beatrix Potter’s wonderful characters in 2016, the Royal Mint presents four more coins for 2017. This year’s series brings back Peter Rabbit in one of his most famous images, the illustration of him on the cover of the first edition of ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’. It’s Beatrix’s first story, introducing the unruly rabbit to children’s bedtimes. For over a century, generations have fallen in love with Peter as he snuck into Mr McGregor’s garden against his mother’s wishes.

In this special gift set, fans can get a special sterling silver version of the 2017 Peter Rabbit 50p coin. The Proof standard finish and colour printing adds another layer of quality and magic in the details of the coin, designed by Emma Noble. The coin is protected in a clear acrylic case and is also perfect for display. The accompanying storybook has a coordinating cover, specially made for this set.
